Lexi and Tom, I just don’t know where to begin with these two. You ever meet a couple that’s personalities are so distinct because they seem so opposite from one another, yet they match so perfectly? I think that is how I would describe these goofballs.
I met Tom through CrossFit. After months of seeing him in passing, I learned he was also a wedding photographer of Tom Studios. Don’t even get me started on their work. They came over to our house one summer night and did a hawt video with us as a personal project Check it out. Anway!! Go figure. I knew the name but never knew the face to go with it. So fast forward a few months later, a bunch of photographers in the area met at a local pub to have a few drinks and talk shop. Someone said, “Where’s Lexi?” and Tom said, “She’ll be here soon. She’s on her way.” As soon as Lexi walked up to us, I thought ‘this girl has so much energy and OMG!! she loves dogs as much as I do!!’… I love her.
Lets fast forward again, shall we?! Tom and Lexi bought a house and got the cutest smushy faced dog, Dwight (Yes, like The Office). He really needs no introduction as he clearly stole the show here. So I showed up at their house New Years Eve morning when it was a whopping 1 degree outside and photographed them in their cozy home. I learned a few lessons here. 1.Chicken noodle soup is better without the noodles. 2.Dogs in photos make everything better 3.I don’t get to photograph other photographers often and it’s a little nerve-racking at first, but it’s WAY fun. Check out some photos that I took of these cuties!
