RHETT + COURTNEY | COLORADO ELOPEMENT | TWIN LAKES WEDDING | COLORADO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
These guys decided to elope not far from their new property in Twin Lakes, CO with close family from near and far. We were lucky to have missed the snow storm from the week prior and lucked out with sunshine. They chose a quiet spot with 360 views of the rockies and celebrated with a champagne toast.

SNOWY AND DREAMY ELOPEMENT OVERLOOKING THE COLLEGIATE PEAKS IN TWIN LAKES
Rhett and Courtney had a lot of different plans for their day. Not because they were indecisive, but because we had no idea what to expect of the weather. All they wanted was a chill day with views of the mountains, family and a few close friends. Their wedding day was just that and more! They exchanged their first look and vows on property they just bought and plan to build on. Their first look brought so many tears to my eyes. After that, we Subarued a way up to the ceremony where family was waiting with a sweet setup to keep the party going.
Planning an elopement in April with more than a few people can be tricky here in Colorado. You never now what you’re going to get. Just a week prior there was a storm and we got SO MUCH snow. The week of their wedding the lake they planned to have their ceremony on was melting. It was a blessing in disguise, because this spot was epic! If you’re thinking of eloping somewhere in CO, keep in mind that while some terrain may not look too rugged, it’s important to have a capable vehicle.
