When it comes to capturing love stories, I believe in stepping outside the box. As a Colorado wedding photographer, I’m always encouraging couples to embrace something a little different—and Chris and Jordan are pros at that!
These two have been in front of my camera a handful of times now, whether for a couples session or with their kiddos. They’re no strangers to my unconventional ideas—like the time they agreed to a hot tub session for example. Find that gem here.
For a Colorado wedding photographer, it’s easy to get drawn to those iconic mountain backdrops, and don’t get me wrong, I love the heck out of em’. But there’s something special about creating unique experiences beyond the expected. Whether it’s exploring quirky downtown streets, cozy indoor spaces with red lights, or vibey late-night hangs, I dare you to step out of traditional.
I always remind my couples that while Colorado offers breathtaking views, you don’t have to stick to the typical mountain scenes. Doing something different is totally okay—in fact, I encourage it! Breaking free from the norm can make your session feel more authentic, intimate, and reflective of you. If you hate being in front of a camera, making it a little weird or just picking an activity to simply hang out can be the ticket.
Another fun addition to my sessions and weddings in 2025? Little snippets of film woven throughout your gallery! It’s been such a joy to experiment with this, adding another layer of emotion to the storytelling process.
So whether you’re craving those mountain peaks or dreaming up something wildly different, I’m here for it all. As your Colorado wedding photographer, I’m just happy to create and be here with you. Thanks for checking it out, friends!
