I always find myself in nature. Whether I’m by myself, my family or scouting locations for my sessions. It’s where my heart and my bare feet are at peace. It’s comforting, always calling to me and the beauty of it is that it’s always changing. Being that I am from the country, I always imagined of living in a city. That’s how it’s supposed to go right?! Live in the country and go to the city. Live in the city and go to the country, but the beauty of getting older is that I grew an appreciation for where I was and just see everything else as adventure.
When Melissa and Mike reached out to me to photograph their engagement session, I quickly jumped on the opportunity to head out their way. So I met them at Empire Brewery in downtown Syracuse. Which has DELICIOUS beer by the way! It was the place they had their first date and so I thought it would be fun to start the session where it all began. We cruised the streets of downtown and finished on the rooftop at sunset. Which was pretty dreamy if you ask me!
